Overview
Users may encounter the error message “Error loading control” when accessing the Work 365 Self-Service Portal.
This issue typically occurs due to a temporary service interruption or synchronization delay between Power Pages and the Power Platform environment.
Restarting the Power Pages site from the Power Platform Admin Center generally resolves the issue.
Resolution Steps
Step 1: Open the Power Platform Admin Center
Navigate to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com.
Sign in with an account that has administrator permissions for managing Power Pages sites.
Step 2: Locate the Power Pages Site
In the left-hand navigation panel, select Manage.
Choose Power Pages.
Click on your portal (e.g., SkyBlue PV Portal).
Step 3: Restart the Site
Open the Site actions dropdown menu.
Select Restart site.
Wait 2–5 minutes for the restart to complete, then refresh and test the portal.
? Note: Restarting the site clears temporary “control loading” errors but may cause brief downtime during the process.
Optional Quick Checks (If the Issue Persists)
